1.
No Control 05:11
What if I told you I were never coming home What if everything up until now has finally arrived In the clearest message that you’re not good for me The love I deserve, you couldn’t give I’m moving on so that I can free my heart Because our home is so cold It’s time to say goodbye I’m never coming back to this unforgiving space You have no control
2.
One long sought after, One becoming of us both, One heart to ache in tandem, The air moving through us so calm. The reverence is becoming of you, Most humble of angels. Flying low to the group, To whisper in our ears, The hums of a gentle breeze, Amidst a storm of malice. You grasp not one, but two Stones in hand. Not to be thrown, But polished and returned, A better Earth than you had found, An Earth I wish to see. Before you I bear witness, To a change coming.

The goddess behind our art leaves us longing. A crude reminder for our desire for some shred of eternity. Every strand pulling further from this blanket that gives us comfort. And removes the veil to reveal a future set in dust. Though we have lived our fullest lives, no one would have known. No one would have known. We tried our damnedest yet the best of us still faded as easy as the rest of us. No one would have known. No one will ever know. A surface clean of imperfection, overtaken by the nature first removed. Now we are the removed.

Prevenge Stony Brook, New York

Max began Prevenge in 2009 in Stony Brook at 13 years old, going through several band members until continuing the project on his own in 2013. The project is meant to be a mix of black metal, post-metal, sludge, doom, pretty much whatever type of music I feel like writing though. ... more
